Fantastic $30 Cartography Software Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop Game Master's Fantasy

After a short availability earlier this year, this cartography software collection is back for a limited time available until Dec. 2. Described as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" developed by ProFantasy Software throughout their history, the entire collection carries a value of over $1,300. And there are three different bundles available here.

Primary Feature

The big draw is certainly a lifetime license for Campaign Cartographer 3+, a professional-grade cartography program which enables users to create everything from fantasy overworld maps, detailed regional charts, city maps, and most notably, tactical combat environments.

Bundle Tiers

Entry Level

The cheapest bundle tier, at a minimum cost of $1, features merely four of the 39 total items: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Source Maps: Castles!, and Source Maps: Cities!. This package suits cartographers who already have CC3+, yet it provides new fantasy symbol styles for landscape mapping, more than 750 monster tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five top-down castle layouts with 470 associated map tokens, eight fully mapped cities, and more than 70 urban floorplans.

Mid-Range Option

The eight-item bundle for at least $15 is where things get more interesting through inclusion of permanent CC3+ access, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. Cartographer's Annual is the yearly bundle from ProFantasy's long-running monthly subscription service featuring multiple CC3+ enhancements including map packs and additional utilities. Isometric Cities lets you display cities with an extra dimension using angled views from all sides. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome is a 760-page for beginners and "power users" alike, full of tips and tutorials covering cartography techniques.

All 17 volumes from the Annual series come with this bundle, plus numerous additional tools and content that can help users craft complete solar systems, or focus exclusively on classic fantasy realm creation: battle maps, underground complexes, cities, and land masses from almost any perspective. You can even design character illustrations. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the complete collection is so worth it, particularly for mappers with temporary CC3+ access and want to upgrade to lifetime. However, it's clearly an even better deal for map-making newbies since it includes the beginners' tutorials to facilitate learning. The one caveat here though the purchase is available across platforms, the software is only usable with Windows systems.
